9:20 - parade assembles at the War Memorial to parade to Holy Trinity Church

10:00 - Church service begins

10:40 - parade assembles on Church Street and parades along High Street, South Street, Melton Road to the War Memorial

10:55 - War Memorial Service begins

TTRO - Heron Road

A temporary road closure is required on Heron Road on 21st November 2019 for 1 day

The road will be closed between Fishpool Way and Mallard Road.

During the works, temporary 2 way traffic lights will be utilised on Fishpool Way.

Remembrance Day Road Closures

The following roads will be affected by a road closure on Sunday 10th November for the Remembrance Parade from 9:15 to approx 11:45.

Beveridge Street

Church Street

High Street

South Street

Melton Road

Warner Street

TTRO - Paudy Lane

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) commencing on 4th November 2019 for the following location: Paudy Lane, Seagrave (see attached plan). The purpose of the TTRO is to allow Leicestershire County Council safely undertake carriageway maintenance works.

The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure.

The duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of 5 weeks.

New Defibrillator

New Defibrillator

The Parish Council is pleased to share that a new defibrillator has been installed on the Charnwood Mill building on Sileby Road. Funds were donated by the Neighbourhood Watch which enabled the Parish Council to fund and install a third device. For the second year running Barrow upon Soar entered the East Midlands in Bloom competition. The judges were in the village in July meeting representatives of our many community groups.
